Avonmore House is a Failte Ireland approved, Four Star, Bed and Breakfast in Youghal town centre. Avonmore House, which translates to "house on the large river," was one of the first homes constructed outside of Youghal's town wall when it was constructed in 1752. The mansion was owned by the Earls of Cork until 1826, when the Duke of Devonshire acquired the title. Since then, the property has been in private hands since 1846. Situated on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey, Avonmore House is situated in a Georgian house at the entrance to Youghal Harbour. We are located less than three minutes' walk from the town centre and right beside a five-mile sandy beach. Check-in time is between 4pm - 7pm. If you require check-in at a later time then please contact Avonmore House so arrangements can be made. Breakfast is chosen from our varied menu. Both cooked and continental options are available. Breakfast is served between 08:15 and 09:45.
